Vocations Fair in Providence - January 14, 2012

md Vocation poster As a part of National Vocations Awareness week 2012 a lay woman, Susan Kennedy, and some of her friends organized the first annual vocations fair in recent history for the Providence diocese in the hall of Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. It was an all-day event with 28 men’s and women’s congregations as well as other organizations represented.

Sprinkler System Completed - Thank You for Your Donation

 Your donations helped us to complete the capital project we had undertaken in 2011 at our convent in North Providence, Rhode Island where many of our elderly sisters reside.  The installation of the sprinkler system has been completed and we have recently passed state and local inspection.

Sr. Lois Ann Pereira was reelected as provincial; Sisters Patricia Barrett, Mary E Petrosky and Kim Loan Nguyen were reelected as provincial councilors. Nga Thi Le was appointed as the fourth provincial councilor. Sr. Pauline Gilmore completed her term as a provincial councilor. A special prayer service celebrated this event.
